Busi Taki nears season 5. Suriname is amid multiple developments, most significantly a roaring offshore oil & gas industry. Meanwhile, Suriname made multiple national and international commitments for nature and biodiversity protection, including recognizing the original forest guardians: our indigenous and tribal communities.

Busi Taki web series
Busi Taki started in 2019 as a web series with topics on nature under the slogan “zicht op het bos voor elke Surinamer“, meaning “a view of the forest for every Surinamese”. The format developed over the years into short 8 to 12 minute-episodes, which are shared through the Busi Taki platforms. ATV-Networks broadcasts the seasons thanks to the CSR program of TELESUR, and Supreme TV (Channel 22.2) also broadcasts the seasons.
