The
Paramaribo Live Museum street art project is on its way. The project aims at
beautifying Paramaribo’s inner city to make it a more enjoyable space for
citizens and tourists. The Paramaribo Live Museum aims to highlight Suriname’s
rich cultural history.
With the streetart project at the corner of Heiligenweg and Waterkant a retired
utility building is beautified to make it into a meeting spot for passersby,
moreover, the corner will be part of the historic city tours performed by
United Tour Guides Suriname because of the many historic events that took place
here. The 4 walls will each get an own theme based on history or nature.
Forest93 partnered with Paramaribo Live Museum to bring nature into the city
with this first wall.
Thank you to the artists
